Our History
Transhipping was founded in 1986, initiating its activities as cargo agent, with the purpose of exploiting the UNITED ATLANTICA LINE -UAL-, maritime line that linked the port of Valencia with the two main ports of the Canadian Atlantic coast, Toronto and Montreal. After two years of good projection, it is decided to give a new direction to the company as Freight forwarder, in order to globalize the services aimed at exporting and importing companies, consolidating a wide network of agents. Subsequently, Transhipping is established as an IATA agent to operate import and export air cargo, thus covering all the needs of its growing client base.
Currently TRANSHIPPING GROUP has offices in Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao, as well as a network of agents around the world, providing services of multimodal transport (Sea Freight, Air Freight and Road Transport), Import & Export, customs brokerage, storage and insurance.
